On Tuesday, September 15th at 9 AM on channel 70 Optimum/ 2136 FiOS, BronxNet will air a LIVE discussion with Health Care Leaders about the barriers, challenges and lessons learned while serving communities of color and other vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This panel of leading health experts will discuss strategies on improving health care access, advances to care planning and quality care for African-Americans, Latinos and other vulnerbale NYC communities.

Hosted and Moderater by WBLS Community Affairs Director, Dr. Bob Lee, panelsits include Dr. Jaqueline Delmont from SOMOS, Dr. Ritchell R. Dignam Chief Medical Officer for VNSNY, Dr. Icilma V. Fergus professor of medicine and director of cardiovascular disparities at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Cardinale Smith director of quality for cancer services at Mount Sinai Health System, and Dr. Maurice E. Wright Chief Medical Officer for New York City Health and Hospital’s Harlem Hospital and Senior Associate Dean  of Columbia University.
