Bronxnet Television, The Bronx Latin Arts Project Network, in collaboration with the office of NYS Senator Jose M. Serrano, successfully held a cocktail reception in celebration of 25 years of art and cultural activism of Ezequiel Jiménez as well as the presentation of his new website. The activity was held at Bronxnet’s Studio during transmission of 'Dialogo Abierto', hosting by Ramon Rodriguez.
Michael Max Knobbe, Executive Director of Bronxnet, spoke about the artist's career, from when Jimenez was his student, “Ezequiel is not only a man committed with the art, but also with the culural and economic welfare of the Bronx, because also I knew him as an entrepreneur small business owner when Ezequiel finished his graphic training at Lehman College in 2000.
The NYS Senator Senador José M. Serrano, Chair of Cultural Affairs, Tourismo, Parks and Recreation, gave to the Artist a NYS Proclamation that highlights and describes fully what it means for the community as well as the State of New York the art and activism of Mr. Jiménez.
