JASA Joins with NAACP to Honor Former Marvelette for Contributions to the Arts

She's a Marvelette! Saundra Joyner-Thompson who lives in Co-op City celebrated Black History Month at the JASA Einstein Senior Center, where the Jewish Association Serving the Aging, called JASA and the NAACP recognized her work with the group whose original members formed in the 1950's and whose 1961 hit, "Please Mr. Postman," under the Motown record label, continues to be fan favorite.
