Mission BX encourages viewers to think about not-for-profits in a different light, as they learn how to access important services and opportunities. The program simultaneously offers information that helps not-for-profits serve and work better. The monthly program is produced by Hostos Community College in partnership with BronxNet, and hosted by Eileen Newman, Executive Director of the Center for Bronx Nonprofits, an organization that examines the work of nonprofits in the health, housing, environmental, arts, food and other sectors. Mission BX features interviews with nonprofit leaders, elected officials and community members. Guests will share stories of the meaningful work being carried out in neighborhoods throughout the borough. MISSION BX is televised on BronxNet channel 67 Optimum /33 FiOS on Sundays at 12:30pm, and Thursdays at 7am & 7pm. © BronxNet 2015
