Perspectives: Budget Cuts and Featherbed Lane Improvement Association On this episode of Perspectives Daren Jaime talks to Program Director Alcee James and Executive Director Robert L. Whetson about how their organization will be affected by Governor Cuomo's plan to cut funding in an effort to trim the State's budget. One of the main aims of Featherbed Lane is drug and alcohol prevention among children through camps and after-school programs. These programs, among others, may be slashed if the proposed cuts go through. Reverend Jennifer Rogers, Program Assistant, and Shanise Lopez, a parent, also shared their thoughts on the importance of the Featherbed Lane Improvement Association and the impact it has had on their lives.
