The Borough President focused on actions being taken to make the Bronx exemplary in many areas including: community development, education, health and more… BronxTalk. Since its debut in October of 1994, BronxTalk has been the flagship talk show in the Bronx. As a call-in talk show, BronxTalk gives Bronxites an opportunity to talk on the air with the borough's movers and shakers. Also, over the years BronxTalk has presented numerous political debates in some of the borough's most hotly-contested campaigns. Hosted by Gary Axelbank, BronxTalk also is the center of focus for topical discussions about Bronx education, crime and policing, politics, health care, youth services, domestic violence, housing, economic development, arts and entertainment, quality of life, and many other vital Bronx issues.
