Description: On this edition of Today’s Verdict, we spoke with Kevin Fritz, from Meister Seelig & Fein LLP about the New York Collegiate Athletic Participation Compensation Act that authorizes student-athletes to receive compensation for using their NIL to endorse products and services, without forfeiting their eligibility to compete in intercollegiate athletics. Lastly, attorney Juliet Eisenstein, Esq. from Advocates for Children of New York explains to us about eliminating Regents exams from graduation requirements, a practice which currently makes New York State an outlier in the US.
