On this episode of Public Health America Dr. Latimer speaks with Dr. Jasmine A. Mena, who is an associate professor of psychology and an affiliate of the Latin American Studies Program at Bucknell University. Her research examines the influence of cultural and contextual factors on physical and mental health and quality of life. She uses a critical and multilevel approach to examine three interrelated scholarly areas: discrimination and psychological distress, psychosocial and structural determinants of health disparities, and critical psychology education.
