On this episode of Public Health America Dr. Latimer speaks with Dr. Janelle Goodwill, an assistant Professor at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. Dr. Goodwill explores topics of mental health, race and gender- with a focus on suicide and depression in Black Americans. She is able to use a series of qualitative and quantitative methods to explore psychological factors that promote mental wellness and prevent adverse outcomes.
