Bronx Pro-Police Rally Turns Ugly

A Bronx pro-police rally intended to honor the NYPD led to viral videos as rallygoers faced off against black lives matter activists. According to Morris Park resident Michael Kaess, several individuals representing the "blue lives matter" movement appeared to taunt and make threats to residents who turned up to chant black lives matter. Several politicians, including Assemblymember Nathalia Fernandez and Senator Alessandra Biaggi, condemned the behavior depicted in the videos, saying that the rally failed to honor police. Yet the vitriol continued online after the rally, as shown in a social media video where a blue lives matter activist named "Wayne" makes threats to Michael Kaess.
