BronxNet is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to help our team to capture community events and experiences of the Bronx!
BronxNet is an independent award-winning not-for-profit producing programming by, for, and about the people of the Bronx, while training the community to produce programs to share with their neighbors and the world.
We are looking for a part time Scheduling Coordinator to assist with crewing of productions and scheduling for the Creative Services department, as well as researching new story ideas.
Essential responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have a College degree and two years in television or video production. The ability to operate and troubleshoot video equipment and utilize standard non-linear editing equipment preferred. Experience with GSuite and Trello a plus.
The candidate must have strong organizational skills, be able to work under pressure, make deadlines and manage time efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt and adjust to a rapidly changing environment and have a keen attention to detail taking pride in the work being produced.
Weekend availability is required and flexibility for evenings or weekdays is a plus.
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. Knowledge of the Bronx a plus.
