Random Acts of Art Project

Picture of

Random Acts of Art, is a live art presentation being done by various artists. Random Acts of Art is a once-a-week presentation, in various outdoor/public locations all around the Bronx. Each week we present a new artist, each with their unique art style. Each artist has a timeline of 3 hours to create and finish their artwork.

The purpose of these public live art performances is to create an experience for the community and creative neighbors. This experience helps the community be aware of art, aware of their creative neighbors, aware of alternatives of spending time outdoors and with each other in a constructive, fun way. These live art performances are a fun expression of the creative process, and how each artist demonstrates their unique creativity.

The other purpose of these live art performances is to pair a youth or an enthusiast with an experienced artist together. The takeaway from these art interactions from the public or by the the youth, is a sense of support and true understanding of what it takes to make art!

Gallery and Art Show:
The collection of all these live art presentations will be shown in a local gallery.
