Spring Tales | Bronx Stories.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts presents Bronx Talks: Bronx Stories, a public program highlighting the diversity of experiences that exist in the borough, as expressed through personal narratives. Storytelling & poetry, powerful ways for people to connect with one another and with art, will be the main features.

The goals of Bronx Stories are four-fold: to challenge stereotypes about the Bronx and promote positive images of the borough; provide a platform for voices from the community and space for the community to come together; encourage deeper engagement with art; and to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the museum. Bronx Stories will showcase performances by storytellers, musicians, poets, artists, and dancers that are inspired by their Bronx experiences and by artworks in the museum’s exhibits. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own stories to share.
