Hostos teachers recognition in honor of the Dominican Heritage Month, there was an assembly at Hostos Community College. It included the recognition of teachers and educators of the Dominican Republic by the President of Hostos Community College, Felix Matos Rodriguez and the N.Y. State Assemblyman, Guillermo Linares as well as others. This event includes students studying under the study abroad program, which in this case is trying to embrace both cultures: Dominican and United States. Along with the Director of International Programs, Anna Garcia, this program will create a platform for the aspiring new teachers at Hostos Community College.
