February is Black History Month and all over new york and the country there will be many events celebrating the rich legacy of African Americans past and present and one of those events will be taking place on the campus of Lehman College. On Wednesday, February 15th, the African and African American Studies department as well as the Urban Male Leadership Program Distinguished Speaker Series will present, A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, “Believing in the Dream”.


BronxNet is an independent, not-for-profit organization, established under the Cable Television Franchise Agreement between the City of New York and Cablevision of New York City.The station began cablecasting programs on July 1, 1993.

BronxNet provides local television by the people of the Bronx, for the people of the Bronx. Our channels feature BronxNet produced shows, as well as those created by community access producers.

BronxNet has a commitment to: training Bronx residents in television production, providing hands-on internships and solid media career preparation for high school and college students, and producing programs in the interest of Bronx residents and not-for-profit organizations.

Community Television Channels BronxNet programs are available on Channels 67, 68, 69 and 70 on the Cablevision system and on Channels 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 on the Verizon Fios system.
