<p><strong>BronxNet is the independent not-for-profit 501c3</strong> serving the people of the Bronx through media production training and access to technology and cable television channels. BronxNet produces award winning programming by, for, and about the Bronx, while training the public and students to produce programs to share with their neighbors. BronxNet has provided training and media access to thousands of Bronxites. The BronxNet Training Program for Future Media Professionals has provided media access and hands on training to over 3000 high school and college students.</p>

<p><strong>BronxNet is the first media center in the nation to televise on six channels with 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 on the Verizon FiOS system, and 67, 68, 69 and 70 on the Cablevision system in the Bronx</strong>. BronxNet studios are located on the beautiful campus of Lehman College with constellation studios being planned and developed in the South Bronx and East Bronx.</p>

<p><strong>BronxNet | Perspectives,</strong> an award-winning show, is a half-hour interactive call-in television program geared to discussing contemporary topics affecting the African-American community on both the national and local level. The show features informed guests who offer insight, debate and evaluate various issues. <br> The show seeks to enlighten the public to available resources in and around their community. <em>Perspectives</em> provides a fair and balanced thirty minutes of programming where viewers can become educated and empowered. <br> Now entering its ninth season, <em>Perspectives</em>, was born when BRONXNET shifted its programming format from news to interview and talk. The show is the brainchild of its host and executive producer Daren Jaime. <p><strong>BronxNet </strong>|<strong> Open 2.0</strong> is a magazine style show produced by, and about young people. Students from participating Bronx high schools write, host and produce the show. They cover all the issues that concern our young people including health, education, entertainment and the latest happenings in our community. Students work both in the field and studio to produce the show and segments include interviews with our Bronx Borough President, a rising recording artist and professionals from the medical community.</p>

BronxNet studios are located on the beautiful campus of Lehman College with constellation studios being planned and developed in the South Bronx and East Bronx.</p>

As a call-in talk show,  BronxTalk gives Bronxites an opportunity to talk on the air with the  borough's movers and shakers.  Also, over the years BronxTalk has  presented numerous political debates in some of the borough's most  hotly-contested campaigns.</p>
<p>Hosted by Gary Axelbank, BronxTalk also is the center of focus for  topical discussions about Bronx education, crime and policing, politics,  health care, youth services, domestic violence, housing, economic  development, arts and entertainment, quality of life, and many other  vital Bronx issues.</p>
<p>BronxTalk is produced by Jane Folloro. It is seen live  on Cablevision's channel 67 & Verizon Fios channel 33 each Monday  night at 9pm.</p>

<p><strong>BronxNet | Perspectives,</strong> an award-winning show, is a half-hour interactive call-in television program geared to discussing contemporary topics affecting the African-American community on both the national and local level. The show features informed guests who offer insight, debate and evaluate various issues. <br> The show seeks to enlighten the public to available resources in and around their community. <em>Perspectives</em> provides a fair and balanced thirty minutes of programming where viewers can become educated and empowered. <br> Now entering its ninth season, <em>Perspectives</em>, was born when BRONXNET shifted its programming format from news to interview and talk. The show is the brainchild of its host and executive producer Daren Jaime. Daren's goal was to use public television to improve the diversity of African-American programming by establishing a news related cable television program to stimulate dialogue and discussion.<br> In 2005, <em>Perspectives</em> won broadcasting and cable's "Telly" award in the Talk Show category for its coverage of the Hurricane Ivan disaster and its devastating effect on Haiti and Jamaica. <br> <strong>Perspectives</strong> airs every<strong> <strong>Tuesday </strong></strong>at<strong> 8:30pm</strong><strong> </strong>on<strong> <strong>BRONXNET</strong> (<strong>Cablevision channel 67 </strong></strong>and<strong> </strong>on<strong> Verizon Fios channel 33</strong><strong>). </strong>The show is also rebroadcast throughout the week. <br> Viewers can join in during the show by calling 718-960-7241 (studio) or by sending an email to <a href="mailto:perspectives@bronxnet.org">perspectives@bronxnet.org</a></p>
