BRONXNET trains students,
community-based organizations and Bronx residents to produce news, documentary
and studio programming. So far, over 2,000 people have been trained and
certified in BRONXNET's Training Program.
CERTIFICATION
At the successful
completion of one or more BRONXNET courses, participants are eligible
to become certified access producers. Certification qualifies a producer
to use BRONXNET equipment to produce programming for possible cablecast
on one of BRONXNET's four channels, for transmission to Bronx cable subscribers.

CLASSES
BRONXNET's television
production training classes are conveniently scheduled on evenings and
weekends for the general public. Class sizes are small to allow maximum
hands on learning. Courses include: Comprehensive training in all phases
of field production Comprehensive training in all phases of studio production
Technical and non-technical workshops for experienced producers including
documentary and dramatic production.
