Every year, since 1996, BRONXNET has been honoring its talented access producers and the valuable work they put on the air, with the
Bronx Excellence in Television Access (BETA) Awards. Here are the 2007 BETA Awards categories:

- Best Youth Program
- Best Talk Show
- Best Inspirational/Religious Program
- Best Educational Program
- Best Music Program
- Best Studio Series
- Best Location Series
- Best Innovative Program
- Technical Excellence Award
- Community Service Award
Celebrities and community leaders have been generous in giving their time to help honor the producers.
“I think anyone who is familiar with BRONXNET or has seen the BETA Awards over the last decade knows how special this is for everyone in the Bronx. You have cross-cultural sharing – people from all over the world participating in the great open work that is BRONXNET,“ said Executive Director Michael Max Knobbe.
“The BETA Awards gives us an opportunity to recognize Bronx residents who work tirelessly to produce programs for their Bronx neighbors. We thank our lively hosts, talented performers and outstanding presenters for helping to make our Twelfth Annual BETA Awards special,” said BRONXNET Director of Development and BETA Awards Producer Audrey Duncan.
BRONXNET is a private, independent, not-for-profit organization established under the requirements of the cable television franchise agreement between the City of New York and Cablevision of New York City. BRONXNET programs are cablecast over Cablevision Channels 67, 68, 69 and 70, in the borough of the Bronx.
