With transportation fare hikes constantly increasing and service cuts that affect your commute, a group of transit riders are fed up and have created the Rider Rebellion campaign. It is a division of the Transportation Alternatives organization, in which commuters join together in support of better fares, service, and end of the service cuts. They have also created a transit rider bill of rights, a document that simply states the public’s as commuters have rights.
