Experience Bronx Week and the borough’s signature celebration, the Bronx Ball, on your BronxNet TV channels or experience right here at www.bronxnet.og. The 2015 Bronx Ball will be televised on BronxNet – Cablevision Channel 67 in HD and Verizon FiOS Channel 33 on June 11th, at 7pm. A Bronx Week marathon featuring previous Bronx Ball celebrations and other Bronx Week events will air over the weekend on Saturday, June 13th from 1:30pm to 5pm and Sunday, June 14th from 12pm to 4pm.

The Bronx Ball, the highlight of Bronx Week, was held in May in a gala setting at Orchard Beach. Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and hundreds of guests, including Bronx leaders, organization representatives, and residents shared a festive evening as they recognized 2015 Walk of Fame Honorees: Actress and TV personality Stacey Dash, Pro Basketball Legend Dolph Schayes, Business Leader and Philanthropist Alfredo Thiebaud posthumously, and Film and TV Actor Malik Yoba.

Bronx Week, presented by Borough President Diaz and co-produced by The Bronx Tourism Council and the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation, features an array of activities that showcase the borough’s vibrant life and growth. “Bronx Week is an amazing celebration of everything that makes our borough a great place to live, work and raise a family. The highlight of the week is our annual ‘Bronx Ball,’ a black tie affair on the shores of the Bronx Riviera, Orchard Beach. I invite everyone to check out BronxNet’s coverage of this wonderful event, and to submerge themselves in not only this year’s gala, but the highlights of years past, as well,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.

“It is an honor to celebrate the accomplishments of Bronxites who have become ambassadors for our great borough! Certainly when people around the world realize the breathe and scope of the talent coming out of The Bronx, it helps spread the word and bring more visitors wanting to see what we have to offer,” says Olga Luz Tirado, executive director of The Bronx Tourism Council.

“The Bronx is a dynamic place to live and experience. We applaud Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., The Bronx Tourism Council and the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation for doing so much to build up the borough and showcase its strengths. We are proud that BronxNet is able to share Bronx Week with the Bronx and the world via our channels and at,” said BronxNet Executive Director Michael Max Knobbe.
