Bronx Vote 2012 Election Info

Obama and Romney.

Tuesday November 6th is Election Day. As a result of Hurricane Sandy, about sixty polls throughout the tri-state, and three polls in the borough of the Bronx are not operational. The board of elections is currently working to relocate any polls that are not accessible to the public or without electricity.

Below is a list of displaced sites in the Bronx and the new locations:

If you are not already registered, it is too late to register for the Nov. 6 general election, but you may still register still register for future elections. If you are not able to vote at your designated location, you will have the option of voting by absentee ballot in your local Board of Election office until 5pm on November 6th, 2012. If you already have an absentee ballot, the deadline to mail the ballot is November 5th, 2012 or you can deliver the ballot in person to your local Board of Elections Office on November 6th, 2012 by 5pm.

The Board of Elections Bronx Borough Office is located at 1780 Grand Concourse, 5th Floor Bronx, NY 10457.

The Board of Elections will continue to inform voters about the minute-to-minute changes that are taking place. Their phone lines are currently down, but for information on where you can vote visit www.vote.nyc.ny.us, call 311, or text 311692.

The polls will be open from 6am-9pm. Remember to go out and make your voice heard! You have power to make a difference!
