Wednesday, 17 February 2016 09:45

altAll day today until midnight, BronxNet is participating in Give Local NYC, a community wide event celebrating local nonprofits. During this 24-hour crowd-funding event, Give Local NYC is challenging New Yorkers to join forces, celebrate the spirit of giving, and inspire everyone to give to the nonprofit organizations that make our city stronger and create a thriving community. BronxNet will be joining thousands of nonprofits nationwide to raise money for local causes. We hope you consider supporting us today, May 4th!

BronxNet is using the Give Local NYC initiative to seek support for our Workforce Development programs. So far, thousands of college and high school students have participated in our hands-on internships. As a result, many have obtained media production positions in front of and behind the camera at major media networks.

Your donation goes a long way in helping students open the doors to competitive media careers. So far this year, approximately 65 students have been participating in Workforce Development programs at BronxNet, building their paths to media career success.

You may donate to BronxNet throughout Wednesday May 4th, 2016 at Give Local NYC!
