Women's Caucus Lauds Henriquez

Riverdalian Glenis Henriquez was honored on Wednesday by the Dominican Women's Caucus, as one of the most influential women on television. "This is a humbling award," she said.

She is the writer, host and executive producer of three BRONXNET television programs: Teens Talk 2 Glenis, Dialogo con Glenis and her latest project titled Dialogo con el Presidente Adolfo Carrion Jr. In the last program, she fields questions from the audience with Mr. Carrion, the Bronx borough president.

Ms. Henriquez was also honored on Oct. 17 by the American Association of Retired Persons for volunteering with the elderly. She is the association's New York state training specialist.

She also speaks to the elderly about financial issues ranging from basic budgeting to personal credit. Ms. Henriquez holds full securities registration from the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Association of Securities Dealers and the New York state Department of Insurance.
