BRONXNET and Aging in America, a full service senior citizens' agency, are teaming up to bring cable viewers Aging Well a half hour live monthly program focusing on topics that affect the senior community in the Bronx.

BRONXNET is happy to partner with Aging in America to provide important information to our senior Bronxites. All too often the needs of our seniors go underserved. We are confident that Aging Well will inform and entertain our viewers.

Commissioner Edwin Mendez-Santiago, of New York's Department for the Aging (DFTA), and Jorge Romero, DFTA's Bronx director of contracts joined Hurwitz on the pilot episode to discuss the Senior Citizens' Rent Increase Exemption Program, Meals-On Wheels, Adult Day Services and other programs.

Aging Well airs Mondays at 7:30pm on BRONXNET Channel 67. Future programs will deal with volunteerism and senior safety issues. JP Morgan Chase is the underwriter for the program.
